The Venue selected for the conference is Ramgarh Gymkhana Club,Ramgarh. Ramgarh is a beautiful hill-Station on the bank of river Damodar. It’s surroundings include charming scenery of forest and hills. It is about 50 K.M.from Ranchi located on Ranchi-Patna Road (N.H 33) It is well connected by rail and road to all parts of the country.

The nearest airport is at Ranchi

The famous ‘Chhinamastika’ temple is about 40 K.M.from Ramgarh. It is ‘Shakti peeth’ from religious point of view. It is also a god picnic place at the ‘Sangam’ of river Damodar and river Bherha.

The climate of Ramgarh in the month of February is pleasant. However warm clothing is desirable.

JAPICON-2004

1. accommodation is available in ;Hotels and guest rooms.

2. Hotel accommodation request ;should be accompanied by one day advance.In case accommodation is not available at the preferred place,alternate god arrangements will be made by organizers.

3. Ramgarh has limited number of good Hotels,so plan in advance and get registered earlier. This will help us to serve you in a better way.

4. Please avoid spot registration as far as practicable.

5. Photocopies of registration Form/accommodation Form can also be used,if needed.

6. All demand draft/cheque should be drawn in fdavour of JAPICON-2004,payable at Ramgarh. Please add Rs.60/- (Sixtyonly) in case of Outstation cheque.

Rules for award papers:-

1. Candidate must be below 35 years of age.

2. Paper ;should be an original waork,not a case report or review.

3. Paper will be judged on following merits:-

i) Quality of original waork

ii) Speaker’s ability to present the paper.

iii) Conclusions drawn from the work presented.

iv) Ability to answer questions.

v) Adherence to time limit.

vi) Quality of audio-visual material used.
